Educational Qualification:
Qualification:
(a) Science Subjects Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR Passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from an Education Board recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in vocational course).
(b) Other than Science Subjects Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course). |
Sports Achievements:
(a) Individual should have represented the country in Junior/Senior International competitions recognized by International Olympics committee (IOA) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.
(b) Individual should have attained the minimum standard of fifth place in the Junior National competitions, represented the State/Union Territory in Senior National competitions or All India Inter University competitions or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.
(c) In team events, the individual should have represented state in Junior/ Senior National competitions conducted by respective Sports Federations or All India Inter University Championship or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports disciplines mentioned at Para 1.
(d) For Cricket Discipline Only. – Candidates who have played All India Inter-University or BCCI Trophies – U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy or higher participation are only eligible to apply. |
